Lush Haul

The time has come for us to put our jammys on at 5pm, dig out the woolly knits and bath galore which means super gorgeous bath products right?!  Is it just me that finds it much more cozy having a bath in Autumn and Winter? I got some lovely Lush products for my birthday so I thought I’d share with you guys the ins and outs of ’em all!

IMG_0784Rub Rub Rub

This is an exfoliating scrub that smell delicious! It is a mix of floral and citrus scents which I think is perfect for this time of year.It is packed with mineral rich sea salt that is great for your skin as it is a natural antiseptic as well as exfoliant and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and revitalised. I really like this product because if you want to go for an intense clean then it is great to apply before a shower, or if you just want a softer, gentle scrub then apply whilst in the shower. You don’t need to have it just for skin but it can also be good to volumise and add shine to the hair as it contains lemon juice! I rubbed some onto my feet and it left them feeling soft and rejuvenated.

Gorgeous Facial Moisturiser IMG_0785

This little pot of goodness is filled with organic oils that leave your skin feeling silky soft. It is made from pineapples, lemons and oranges which will help hydrate the skin. I apply this once I’ve cleansed my skin before bed and my skin feels fresh in the morning. The only downside with this is that it makes my skin pretty oily if I apply it daily so I tend to do it every other day! The cream is also really thick so it goes a long way for such a small pot!

IMG_0801Sakura Bath Bomb

I loved this bath bomb as it was filled with floral fragrances that left you feeling relaxed. I was a little disappointed with the colour and boldness of it, as lush bath bombs are renowned for their vibrant colours. This bomb left just a tinge of subtle pink. Even so, this leaves your skin feeling moisturised and soft with the scent lingering on your skin. If you like Spring and blossom scents then this will be perfect for you!

I really think Lush have out done themselves on this one! Out all the bath bombs this is definitely my all time favourite. The overall effect this has is incredible, and it is like being transported into a cosmic galaxy – I was transfixed on watching it and filmed it for a good while! I also love how glittery and shimmery your skin is afterwards, it is just pure magical heaven. The smell of the uplifting and refreshing peppermint oil with the sweet goodness of grapefruit complements one another beautifully. However, some people may find the strong scent of mint off putting, but it does relax all your muscles and makes you feel super fresh afterwards.

The Comforter

I’ve used this a few times before and it is always one of my trust favourites and go to items! It is a beautiful bubble bar that leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and also turns the water pink, which is always a good thing! You also get a huge portion of this and you only need a little bit to produce some fantastic bubbles so this definitely goes a long way! The blackcurrant tones are extremely soothing and uplifting and you will sure be reaching for this time and time again.

Vanilla Dee-Lite

Usually I’m not a fan on vanilla scents as I think they are a bit overpowering but this one has just the right amount of fragrance. It’s made with coconut water to keep your skin hydrated but at the same time it keeps it light and fresh and you don’t seem to get that sticky feel afterwards! The mousturiser is super light, and drys in no time at all. This is becoming a firm fave in my collection as it’s compact and subtle to apply on a day to day basis.

IMG_0795The Experimenter

I really don’t think the picture does this justice of how beautiful it looked! As soon as I placed it into the bath it produce a rainbow of vibrant colours, although the end result the water was a murky green, but what can you expect with 5 bright colours all mixed together! It also has a fragrant woody and vanilla scent which is perfect Autumnal scent for this time of year.
