Autumn and Winter is here, and my lipstick collection is ever growing. Here is a quick run down on my favourite lipsticks that I just can’t get enough of!
MAC: So Chaud
I love red lipsticks, and this one caught my eye with its bright, orange undertone! This lipstick is great for injecting a bit of colour into your day wear, but it’s not too over powering, which makes this great for this season. So Chaud is matte, and stays on throughout the day without having to reapply! As this has an orange vibrancy, it is great if you have warmer toned skins, and is the perfect alternative to the typical red lip.
MAC: Please Me
I’ve had this lipstick for quite a while now and it is still my ultimate go to throughout the year. It is a matte, rosy pink that is super pigmented allowing it to stay on all day! I feel like this pink goes well with my blonde hair, and complements my skin tone well. It is brighter than most other pinks in my collection, but it provides an effortless look. Some matte lipsticks can be very drying, but this one is super creamy and leaves my lips soft.
Maybellie: Divine Wine
I have been searching for a new Autumnal shade, and this is my absolute favourite and I can’t get enough of it. It is one of their colour sensational creamy matte colours, and it immediately provides an effortless look. The colour is a deep red, and gives the impression your lip has been stained after drinking too many glasses of red wine! It is the perfect shade, and does not wash out my pale skin! A must have if your have a lighter complexion!
Clinique: Cherry Pop
This is one of the most moisturising lipsticks I own. It has a primer incorporated within, added an extra hydrated finish! The lipstick glides on, and is ultra smooth. The colour I have is a bright red that is perfect for evening wear and being bold! The good thing about this, is that it’s not sticky, like some hydrating lipsticks, so this is great if you want a long lasting glossy effect.
Sleek: Barely There
I have to say this is my all time favourite lipstick! I love Sleek lipsticks, they’re compact and silky smooth. This colour is a light coral nude colour that leaves your lips with that added shine! It stays on all day and you never have to reapply. I find that this lipstick goes with most outfits, and is great for every day wear. This is a great Autumnal shade, and whether you’re fair or dark skinned this will work wonders!
Rimmell: Kate Moss 30
I cannot write a lipstick piece without mentioning how incredible Kate Moss lipsticks are! They are incredible, high street affordable lipsticks that supply great dupes to the more expensive brands. This one here is a bright plum colour, that is a perfect Autumnal colour. The colour is incredibly pigmented and provides a long lasting finish!
I hope you’ve all enjoyed this post. What are your favourite lipsticks this Autumn?
Lots of Love,
