The Power Of Makeup

The Power Of Makeup

I’ve seen quite a few of these posts floating around online for a while and I love finding out people’s opinions and thoughts on makeup. I know a lot of people think that girls wear make up or “face paint,” because they feel insecure about their natural look and often comment on how different people look without it.

I mean, I am no make up artist but I love wearing make up and I love how confident it makes me feel. That’s not to say I don’t like the way I look, I enjoy applying it and knowing that my redness and spots are not so vividly on display! I still go out without makeup, hair scraped back and looking like a slob, but who doesn’t?

Make Up Used: Nars: Sheer Glow, Collection 2000: lasting perfection concealer, Urban Decay naked 2: chopper, Bourjois Liner Feutre: Benefit They’re Real, Sleek: Contour Kit, Kiko: Shade Fusion Trio Blush Natural Rose, Clinique: Long Last Lipstick Beach Coral.

Make up for me, is all about enhancing your features and experimenting with different styles that make you feel good. I have naturally small eyes and adding mascara and eyeliner makes them open up a lot more and seem bigger than what they actually are. Maybe make up is deceiving,  but this isn’t intentional, everyone has their own reasons as to why they wear it. If make up makes people smile more, be louder and be themselves then it can’t be a bad thing, right?

I don’t think anyone should feel conscious or worried about wearing too much or too little make up, you only get this face once, so embrace it.

Feel free to leave comments and let me know why you wear make up.

Lots of Love,
