Spring is here, the clocks have gone forward and it’s time to put away those dark lipsticks and bring out the pretty pinks for the new Season. I don’t know about you, but I’m so excited for Summer, I feel like it makes you so happy when the sun is shining and it means, new make up. Doesn’t it? I’ve compiled my list of my favourite pink shades of lipsticks and blushers that will complement each other perfectly for the Springtime!
Maybelline Colour Sensational Mattes – Rose Rush
I loved Matt lipsticks and this rosey baby pink is the perfect shade for the Spring season. Unlike most matt lipsticks, this lipstick is extremely smooth and will leave your lips hydrated and and much more comfortable throughout the day. The colour does mimic a barbie pink shade, but teamed up with subtle and natural make up, makes it timeless and elegant and will add a pop of colour.
Max Factor Creme Puff Blush – Seductive Pink
I recently purchased this and I am completely in love! It is a beautiful dusky pink that has a beautiful subtle shimmer through it. It reminds me a lot of the Bourjois blushers in terms of packaging as it is really compact and easy to store in your make up bag! It is really pigmented and is the perfect sweep of colour for rosey and shimmery cheeks.
Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick – Bewitching Coral
I have never tried Max Factor lipsticks before or quite frankly their make up but I am loving their pink shades this year! This lipstick contains shea, avocado and aloe butters which makes applying this lipstick easy as it just glides on! It is incredibly hydrating on the lips and also pigmented which is just what you want over the Spring season. It is a beautiful coral colour and is more red toned than orange, which gives this colour a beautiful overall pink tone!
Benefit – Benetint
I’ve loved Benetint ever since I discovered Benefit make up, as it is such a quirky product! For those of you that don’t know it is a blusher, but in a liquid form that tints your cheeks a beautiful rose pink. I find this product so easy and quick to apply and you can adjust the colour to suit your look. The colour is a beautiful rosey pink and is perfect if you want to accentuate your cheekbones with precision; it also lasts for an incredibly long time and doesn’t budge! It is probably my one of my all time faves and will always be in my make up bag, no matter what the weather.
Rimmel Oh My Gloss – Twinkle Twinkle
I’ve always been a fan of Rimmel lipgloss’s, especially the Apocalips range. This one has taken over my favourites as it is lightweight and non sticky, making it perfect for a quick touch of shine! The colour I have is Twinkle Twinkle which is a vibrant glittery pink – I just love this as you don’t have to do much else with your lips! It also contains argan oil and vitamin E which hydrates and keeps you lips looking soft all day long. The glitter is probably a bit OTT for wearing it during the day, but for the evenings and summer nights, this will be perfect!
I’m loving pink shades at the moment, just because they look so effortless and natural.
Let me know what you’re favourite pink lipsticks and blushers are!
Lots of Love,
