Affordable Haircare – Organic Shop

When Organic Shop got in touch with their new affordable hair care I couldn’t wait to try it. Not only are the products affordable, they are completely natural, with zero parabens, cruelty free and all packaging is recyclable. So you know you’re doing your bit for the planet, especially with this plastic obsessed world we’re living in at the moment!  I think sometimes you get drawn into the expensive price tags of haircare, thinking that these are clearly the better products to purchase to make your hair look beautiful

Organic Shop pride themselves on sourcing the very best ingredients from all around the world. Blending ingredients with traditional recipes, you will get to experience the power of nature, through this new hair care range.

Moroccan Argan and Amla Shampoo & Conditioner

So we all know how good Moroccan Argan oil is don’t we? Known for helping to repair damaged hair, and if you lighten your hair like I do, it’s a saving grace for keeping your hair looking healthy. Combined with organic Amla which deeply conditions your hair, the shampoo and conditioner provides a one stop shop for repairing damaged hair. With blonde hair, I find it hard to find a product that adds shine to my hair, but these products have brought it back to life. The smell of both products is akin to sandy beaches and coconut palm trees, they have left my hair smelling divine for hours after using the product. The packaging is luxurious and any form of product that has a pump dispenser is a winner for me. I think they just add a touch of high end to them. Is that just me?

Moroccan Argan and Amla Hair Mask

Nothing beats putting a hair mask on, on a Sunday evening after a heavy weekend and a tiring week ahead. They’re known for adding intense hydration and repairing the heat damage that we leave on our hair. The hair mask is incredibly creamy and thick, and you get so much in the pot! I apply a generous amount onto the ends of my hair after washing and leave for around 5 minutes. If your hair is particularly damaged then leave on for longer for an intense repair treatment. The mask, as with the shampoo and conditioner are rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin E which all help to increase elasticity in your hair and prevent breakage of ends.

There are plenty more products in the range to suit what your end goal is for your hair:

  • Coconut and Shea – moisturising, softness and revival
  • Honey and Avocado – repairing, softness and vitality
  • Raspberry and Acai – voluminising, strength and thickness
  • Pomegranate and Patchouli – invigorating, smoothness and perfection

All products are incredibly affordable at just £2.50 each, is it just me that likes an even round number? The products are exclusively available at Tesco.

Organic Shop are also running a competition to send you and a friend to the Caribbean! So you’ll be able to lap up the Caribbean experience, not just through the hair care products. To enter and for T&C’s simply go to the website
